Who is catching for you?

Like many, our weekend was full of baseball! We cheered our 9-year-old grandson on the mound during his first All-Stars experience, and we cheered for LSU on Saturday and Sunday through the highs and the lows. We’ll do it again tonight!

With baseball on our minds, let’s talk about baseball and marketing. Strong pitchers lead teams to win. Add a great catcher, and the percentage of winning goes up! Catchers have to be great communicators, in sync with the pitcher while communicating messages from around the dugout and the field assisting the pitcher in winning!

What I’ve found in the IT world is owners and founders are the pitchers, leading their IT companies to many wins, but many have no catcher for their team. No one is responsible for leading marketing and communications. No one is reading the dugout and the field to signal what kind of pitch would be best.

Communication is more complex than ever. Customers use multiple channels of communication to find solutions and build relationships. Who is catching for you?

Daystar New Media helps IT leaders deliver sales-aligned marketing to a growing audience of customers and prospects across multiple channels to win in the field.

Don’t be without a catcher.
